Reliance Global Logistics is currently seeking experienced Sales Executives and entry-level Sales Representatives to join our team in the Charleston, SC area. A Logistics Sales Executive will focus on B2B sales whereby they will find, research and qualify prospective clients, with the ultimate goal of closing new business through the solicitation of Reliance's transportation and logistics service offerings. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, relationship-driven, incentive-driven, and should possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your proven track record in sales, combined with great relationship-building skills and the ability to think strategically while creating systems and processes, will allow you to shine in this role. You will be tasked with growing and managing a book of business. You will work with management to develop strategies for long term growth whereby Reliance captures maximum transportation revenue of our clients as we seek to make a lasting impact.

What you’re expected to do:

  • Conduct lead generation activities including cold calling, networking and other prospecting methods while managing CRM
  • Build positive relationships with prospective customers through regular communication
  • Perform qualification process by utilizing solutions-oriented and consultative selling strategies to determine customer’s current process and requirements
  • Create opportunities to quote on new business and generate revenue through inside sales
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships as needed within customer base to achieve optimum account penetration
  • Effective application and usage of technology
  • Ability to process booking requests to close business on the spot
  • Manage shipment lifecycle through our transportation management system (TMS)
  • Create Account Standard Operating Procedures for all onboarded clients to ensure consistency and facilitate hand-off to the Operations team
  • Travel for client visits as needed
  • Monitor leading and lagging indicators
  • Participate in weekly meetings with manager to discuss performance

What sets you up for success:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen ability to articulate concepts both verbally and through written documentation
  • Keen ability to think creatively, integrates ideas, and develop effective solutions
  • Works well with a diverse group of people
  • Excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • 1-2 years of B2B sales experience is a plus
  • Consulting experience or experience in consultative sales approach is a major plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
